Meeting local needs in the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja and the independent administration in both Garmian and Raparin. In these areas, large areas of arable land are exploited to meet local needs for wheat and its derivatives. At Qaiwan Food Industries, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and relevant government agencies, we purchase surplus wheat from farmers to produce high-quality flour products, and then market them to meet local needs and create a more stable market. The Qaiwan Food Industries project also includes the production of imported mixes and the manufacture of traditional food products such as (bulgur and jareesh) and international foods such as (pasta and spaghetti) according to international specifications. As well as the manufacture of alternative food products (re-manufactured) from wheat and other food ingredients.

Agriculture plays a crucial role in the infrastructure development of the Kurdistan region, utilizing vast areas of arable land to establish a more stable market. In collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and relevant governmental entities, we procure surplus wheat from farmers and produce high-quality flour products, which we then market to meet local needs.
National Wheat Project
Qaiwan Food Industries is committed to supporting farmers through the National Wheat Project. Our primary goal is to work closely with the private sector and the Ministry of Agriculture to boost wheat production and support the agricultural sector. Currently, farmers sell only about 70 to 100 kilograms of wheat per acre, while the production capacity is 350 kilograms per acre and sometimes reaches 1000 kg/ton. Note that the Iraqi government receives only 330,000 to 390,000 tons annually from farmers in the Kurdistan Region, which is much less than what is produced.
